Alison Francis, Sleep Health and Stress Management Expert (United Kingdom)
Alison Francis also known as Anandi, The Sleep Guru, has worked in the wellbeing field for 30 years. She works with those who are struggling with the stresses and strains of life and in particular, sleep. Alison knows personally what it’s like to suffer from insomnia and understands how a lack of sleep can negatively impact creativity, affect relationships and have a serious effect on health and wellbeing.
Alison is the creator of Sleepology by Anandi®, a new wellbeing process and in-depth enquiry into the causes of stress, exhaustion and sleep issues. Her credentials include Ayurvedic consultant, yoga teacher trainer, breath coach, NLP practitioner, Chopra certified meditation teacher and a graduate of the in-depth study of yogic philosophy.
She is the author of ‘Breathe Better Sleep Better’ which explains how to use the breath as a healing tool not just for good sleep, but for wellbeing as a whole. She is also working on her new book which will be published in early 2022. Alison has appeared in the press and all the major magazines including Cosmopolitan, Women’s Fitness, Psychologies, In the Moment, Spirit and Destiny, the Daily Mail and the London Evening Standard.
Alison has spent many months in India over the years exploring and studying and regularly meets with her guru. She is the president of Helping Hands for India, a Charity which provides schooling for underprivileged children in Northern India and is passionate about living a life of meaning and purpose.
