I have never heard about mind chattering before, but I am very familiar with this kind of internal dialogue that is almost constant in my mind. I am endlessly talking to myself without end and I had no idea how that achieving inner silence is a way to handle it. When in the past I attempted to stop the inner critic, I usually wanted to stop only the negative thoughts. It is clear to me now that trying to stop only the negative side is just coping and coping doesn’t stop the mind chattering. To stop the mind chatter, I am trying to stop all of my thinking even the good thoughts.
